Who we are

TopTradiesAustralia (“we”, “us”) is an Australian directory of tradespeople backed by verified customer reviews. Contact: hello@toptradiesaustralia.com.au.

What we collect

Account details (email, name) when you sign up as a tradie or homeowner.
Business profile information you provide as a tradie.
Reviews you submit, including your name, email, and review content.
Anonymous usage data (page views, IP-hashed for unique visitor counts).
Payment information processed by Stripe (we never see your card details).

How we use your data

To verify reviews via email before publication.
To run the awards algorithm and publish suburb/state/national winners.
To process subscription payments via Stripe.
To send transactional email (review requests, verifications, award notifications).
To improve the platform via aggregate analytics.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time by emailing us. Reviews you’ve published may need to be retained for platform integrity even if your account is closed; we’ll anonymise them on request.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies for authentication (Supabase) and admin sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Third parties

We share data only with: Supabase (database + auth), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Unsplash (hero photography). Each has their own privacy policy.
